Tech Mahindra has integrated its proprietary AI model, IndusQ LLM, with Qualcomm AI Hub. This collaboration aims to enhance on-device AI capabilities, enabling enterprises to leverage real-time insights, automation, and edge computing across industries.

The partnership combines Tech Mahindra’s AI-powered enterprise solutions with Qualcomm Technologies’ expertise in AI, facilitating innovation in areas such as connected devices, autonomous vehicles, and smart cities.

By streamlining AI deployment on devices, the integration eliminates complex setups and accelerates application scaling for businesses and developers.

Nikhil Malhotra, chief innovation officer & Global Head of AI and Emerging Technologies at Tech Mahindra, emphasised the significance of AI at the edge. “Our collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies addresses this by developing AI-powered use cases, helping businesses tap into advanced AI capabilities to enhance operational efficiency, automation, and customer experience at the edge.”

The IndusQ LLM extends Tech Mahindra’s AI capabilities by incorporating Hindi and its 37 dialects, allowing businesses to overcome language barriers and expand into multilingual markets, particularly in India. This localisation enables enterprises to offer AI-driven solutions tailored for diverse linguistic regions, reinforcing Tech Mahindra’s role in advancing edge AI computing.

Savi Soin, Senior VP and president of Qualcomm India, highlighted the impact of this integration: “At Qualcomm Technologies, we’re driving innovation to unlock AI and edge computing potential. Our collaboration with Tech Mahindra to integrate IndusQ LLM into Qualcomm AI Hub makes AI-driven solutions more inclusive. This collaboration expands Qualcomm Technologies’ AI offerings and enables next-gen solutions.”

The Qualcomm AI Hub supports applications across sectors, including mobile, computing, automotive, and IoT. The Snapdragon X-Series platforms, featuring one of the fastest NPUs in laptops with 45 TOPS, enable on-device LLM and AI use cases, making AI more accessible for businesses.
