The round was led by Info Edge Ventures and aimed to expand ANSCER’s autonomous mobile robot offerings.
Bengaluru-based ANSCER Robotics raised $2 million in the seed round led by Info Edge Ventures to expand its autonomous mobile robot (AMR) offerings. The startup provides AMRs for warehouses and factories, including pallet movers, tuggers, and conveyors, with deployments in India, the US, Singapore, and Japan.
The funding will support market expansion and new product development, and Info Edge Ventures will highlight ANSCER’s expertise in industrial automation. This investment aligns with India’s deep tech growth, backed by government initiatives like the proposed deep tech Fund of Funds.
ANSCER Robotics works to build Hybrid AMR to advance its warehouse automation solutions. Apart from AMRs, the company also integrates automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to enhance efficiency, optimise throughput, and reduce operational costs.
Its Pallet Lifting Robots (PLR) Series includes the PLR1000 (1,000 kg capacity) and PLR2000 (2,000 kg capacity), ensuring efficient, autonomous pallet transportation. The PSR2000 (Pallet Stacking Robot) further improves warehouse storage by automating the stacking process.
With AI-driven navigation and real-time adaptability, these robots seamlessly integrate with existing warehouse systems, minimising downtime and boosting productivity.
The funding will help ANSCER refine its technology and expand its market reach. The startup is also displaying its AR series, AGV series and PLR series logistics and automation solutions in person at the LogiMAT India 2025 in Mumbai from February 13 to 15, 2025.
Industrial robots have been coming up recently for warehouse-related functions. Another company, Addverb, is working towards the same goal and is presenting its upcoming innovation at LogiMAT. The company is launching Trakr 2.0, HOCA (high-order carousel automation), and Brisk, an innovation that introduces gesture recognition technology into warehouse operations.
In a recent interview with AIM, Satish Shukla, co-founder of Addverb, discussed the company’s plans to launch its humanoid this year and his views on the future of humanoids.
ANSCER Robotics also recently welcomed Mark Messina as the MD & CEO of Americas to spearhead our expansion in the US.
With decades of experience in robotics and automation, co-founding DroneTerminus and working as MD and CEO at Addverb, Mark has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry.
