The summit covered Agentic AI in decision-making, enterprise AI readiness, and the importance of continuous learning in today's AI age.

Tredence’s flagship event, Infinity AI, concluded recently, bringing together a powerhouse line-up of industry leaders, AI innovators, analysts, and academic experts to explore how AI is reshaping the business landscape.
The event opened with a welcome address by CEO Shub Bhowmick, who set the tone on the urgency to move from experimentation to scaled, measurable impact.
Infinity AI emphasised that the question is no longer whether to adopt AI, but rather how quickly and responsibly organisations can scale it. Their theme, ‘Be AI. Be Limitless’, captured this shift in mindset.
Overall, the summit covered the role of Agentic AI in decision intelligence, enterprise readiness for AI disruption, and the need for continuous learning in a fast-changing environment.
Building on the broader themes of AI’s impact, the event also explored other discussion points. At the event, the Investors Panel featured Apax Partners’ tech team principal Anirudh Jain and ChrysCapital VP Rishabh Iyer, who discussed capital trends and strategic investments in AI-first enterprises.
Moreover, the Partner Spotlights panel showcased how enterprises are modernising with the help of Databricks, SAP, Snowflake, and Tredence, emphasising reshaping data strategies and cloud innovation.
But How is Tredence Preparing For Agentic AI?
Tredence hosted the Infinity AI Hackathon on March 27 on the Databricks platform, bringing together over 1,000 participants from its global offices and top academic institutions, including IITs. The 24-hour event focused on building AI solutions that reflect the next evolution of enterprise AI—autonomous, adaptive, and decision-driven.
“The Infinity AI Hackathon represents our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI,” said Munjay Singh, chief operating officer at Tredence. “By bringing together diverse perspectives from our global teams and engineering students, we are creating an innovation ecosystem where breakthrough ideas can flourish while nurturing the next generation of AI talent.”
“We are happy to partner with Tredence for the Infinity AI Hackathon, using Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform to accelerate AI-driven innovation. Tredence has demonstrated its deep commitment to solving enterprise challenges with scalable AI and analytics solutions,” Jason McIntyre, regional vice president at Databricks, said.
Participants used the platform to build AI prototypes in five areas: LLM agents, small language models, multi-modal AI, responsible AI, and hybrid AI. The solutions targeted real-world challenges in retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), manufacturing, healthcare, and banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI).
At the event, Soumendra Mohanty, chief strategy officer at Tredence, outlined the company’s agentic AI vision. “We are building enterprise-ready AI systems that learn and make decisions autonomously. That’s the core of agentic AI.”
Moreover, Tredence introduced the Milky Way—a new architectural approach to solving real-world problems using a network of specialised AI agents, each focused on narrow, well-defined tasks.
The Milky Way addresses how human roles will change. The shift is from human-in-the-loop to human-on-the-loop, where humans oversee rather than intervene directly. This framework is already being tested with real clients and data.
“Many of the clients have already started validating this idea…solving very specific nano-problem statements,” Mohanty added.
The future will involve managing AI agents as part of the workforce, including performance evaluation and collaboration. “How do you do the performance appraisal of the agents?” he quipped.
Tredence Studio
With over 3,500 employees worldwide, Tredence focuses on operationalising AI to solve business problems at scale. The Infinity AI Hackathon reinforced its strategy to lead in agentic AI, combining domain expertise with academic collaboration.
Last year, Tredence opened its AI Experience and Collaboration Centre in Bengaluru to help clients tackle complex challenges and unlock business value using generative and prescriptive AI.
The centre is all about collaboration—it’s a space where teams can come together to turn ideas into reality quickly and effectively. With hands-on labs, proof-of-concepts, rapid prototyping, executive briefings, hackathons, and design thinking workshops, it’s designed to fast-track innovation and bring practical AI solutions to life.
At the Infinity AI event, a live demo of TEO, an LLM-integrated robot, was showcased. TEO is designed to have conversations with users in natural language and provide responses in real time. The robot has been trained with Tredence context and can engage both Tredence employees and clients in meaningful ways. TEO acts as a companion in the Experience Center and interacts with clients during their visits.
Pavan Nanjundaiah, head of Tredence Studio said, “Tredence Studio works on identifying enterprise business problems, creating reusable and innovative solutions (accelerators) to solve these problems and ultimately, delivering value for our customers. The goal is to take this new trend, find enterprise use cases, and then build something that we can take to customers. ”
The studio houses 100 engineers dedicated to innovation within the company, alongside a larger team of 3,500 employees. They are experimenting with VR to address enterprise problems, like monitoring machine health in remote locations via digital twins. This is part of their effort to integrate GenAI into the experience, offering a more interactive way to understand and resolve issues.
