Murli Swaminathan’s experience is set to provide rapid impact and real returns on AI investment at Freshworks

Cloud-based customer and employee experience solutions provider, Freshworks has appointed Murli Swaminathan, ex engineering executive at ServiceNow and CA Technologies as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) today.
Swaminathan in his new role will be responsible for overseeing its global engineering and architecture teams while leading the tech roadmap and strategy. He brings 30 years of industry experience and software engineering knowledge to his new role at Freshworks, having previously worked as Vice President of Engineering at ServiceNow.

software company”, said Swaminathan. “Our talented global engineering and architecture teams are pivotal to meeting this goal and I look forward to working with them to continue driving
innovation and delivering exceptional products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
Freshworks is in the process of Generative AI revamp, they have added three new services namely Freddy Self Service, Freddy Copilot and Freddy Insights to their platform. The Freddy AI initiatives are built leveraging the power of Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service.
Outside of GenAI, Freshwork is also investing in developing proprietary language models and integrating general-purpose LLMs to meet the diverse needs of its customers, allowing Freddy to access and process even more complex information, leading to even more powerful AI solutions.
Freshworks was one of the first B2B companies to leverage Gen AI tech starting 2018, following the addition of Swaminathan to the team, Freshworks is set to witness new developments in its AI space.
