Deloitte announced the expansion of its Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) Simulation Centre of Excellence (CoE) on Tuesday. As part of its broader $3 billion investment in generative AI through FY30, the CoE will support clients worldwide with real-time simulations, decision-making insights, and advanced AI-powered solutions.
Launched in Bengaluru, the new CoE aims to improve strategic decision-making through advanced visualisations, digital twins, multi-agent systems, and scenario modelling.
Deloitte has invested between $5 million and $10 million in this initiative, which will power next-generation capabilities such as 5G, 6G, IoT, industrial metaverse, space tech, physical robotics, and nanotechnology.
The simulation CoE is designed to mitigate risks, improve efficiencies, and maximise return on investment by integrating AI-driven automation and analytics into business operations. It is also integrated into Deloitte’s Experience Centre.
Rohit Berry, president of strategy, risk, and transactions at Deloitte South Asia, stated, “The government’s commitment to strengthening Bharat’s role in the global AI landscape is evident in its vision of Making AI in India and Making AI Work for India. The launch of the simulation CoE in India will serve as a dynamic enabler for the growth of our digital economy, investments, and jobs.”
Furthermore, Deloitte’s global strategy, risk & transactions leader Nicolai Andersen highlighted the centre’s transformative approach to strategy development, stating, “This innovative CoE couples the power of GenAI with data to deliver customised recommendations for each client, providing leaders with actionable insights rather than relying on predictions from traditional approaches.”
The CoE will specialise in four types of AI-driven simulations to support industries in optimising decision-making, increasing efficiency, and reducing risk: physical simulations, process simulations, people simulations and strategic options simulations.
The Bengaluru CoE is part of Deloitte’s broader strategy to build a global network of AI-powered innovation centres. Deloitte has already begun deploying its simulation expertise across industries.
