Adobe Express Can now be used in 8 Indian Languages

Adobe has announced significant updates to its Adobe Express content creation app, introducing support for multiple Indian languages and expanding access to its generative AI features for millions of users across India. 

The interface for Adobe Express on Desktop Web and mobile is now available in Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali, allowing users to leverage features in their native languages. 

Meanwhile The Translate feature in Adobe Express for Desktop Web now supports eight Indian languages which includes Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.

The idea is to reduce the language barrier and allow creators to use Adobe Express in their native language. The new language capabilities aim to make Adobe’s powerful design tools accessible to a wider audience in India. Govind Balakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Adobe Express and Digital Media Services, stated that Adobe Express is seeing rapid adoption in India, and these updates are designed to cater to the diverse market’s expanding content creation requirements. 

Here are the key features of this update:

• Auto-Translation: Effortlessly translate text across single and multiple-page files, eliminating the need for manual translations and external tools. The Translate feature is a premium offering, currently available for free for a limited period. Users can take advantage of this feature to leverage Adobe Express’s extensive collection of English templates by translating them into their preferred languages, supporting accessibility and customization like never before.
• Localized UI: The user interface is now available in Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali, providing a more intuitive experience.
• Text-Element Translation: Users can selectively control which text elements are translated, ensuring place names, brand names, and other specific details remain accurate.
• Multi-Page Translation: Translate content across multiple pages with a single click, streamlining workflows

Neha Sharma, a popular artist known as Neha Doodles, highlighted the importance of these updates, saying, “In a market as diverse as India, content creation and creative expression spans across multiple languages and audiences.”

In a recent interview with AIM, Prativa Mohapatra, VP and MD of Adobe India, mentioned that India is one of the fastest growing markets for Adobe and efforts like adding support for multiple languages will improve the user experience for Indians further.
