In recent years, Tredence has experienced rapid growth, quadrupling its size since 2020 and recording a 40% revenue increase in 2023.
Tredence, a leader in data science and AI, launched its new Retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) GenAI Suite of Accelerators at the NRF 2025 retail show in New York City.
The suite employs generative AI and Agentic AI to optimise supply chains, enhance marketing strategies, and improve customer experiences for retailers and CPG companies.
Among the suite’s early adopters is Mars, a global CPG giant with an annual revenue of $50 billion. In collaboration with Tredence, Mars implemented a unified AI platform designed for scalability, compliance, and innovation. This initiative has transformed Mars’ vast data ecosystem into actionable insights, driving significant operational efficiencies.
“GenAI is revolutionising RCGs across three key dimensions: productivity, innovation, and growth. To achieve true business ROI in this rapidly evolving landscape, enterprises need optionality, agility, and control,” said Sagar Balan, chief business officer for CPG at Tredence. “Our purpose-built GenAI accelerators, enhanced with agentic AI capabilities, are designed to address CPGs’ most pressing challenges.”
Over the years, the company has built a reputation as a trusted partner to some of the world’s largest retailers and CPG firms. It delivers advanced solutions that align with evolving industry demands.
The introduction of the GenAI Suite aligns with broader industry trends highlighted at NRF 2025, where AI continues to be a focal point for tackling challenges such as supply chain disruptions, marketing inefficiencies, and customer engagement gaps. As AI adoption accelerates, Tredence’s tailored approach underlines the potential of data-driven technologies in reshaping the retail and CPG sectors.
Tredence’s Growth and Innovation
In recent years, Tredence has experienced rapid growth, quadrupling its size since 2020 and recording a 40% revenue increase in 2023. The company has raised over $205 million to support its expansion into new markets and the launch of innovative solutions like the ATOM.AI ecosystem and a GenAI-as-a-service platform.
In the same year, Tredence opened an AI Experience and Collaboration Centre in Bengaluru. This state-of-the-art facility serves as a hub for developing and testing generative and prescriptive AI solutions. Activities include proof-of-concept development, prototyping, and collaborative workshops involving clients, employees, and startups.
Tredence invests 8–10% of its annual revenue in innovation, with the Bengaluru centre playing a critical role in fostering client-centric AI advancements. By blending technology, collaboration, and expertise, Tredence aims to remain at the forefront of AI growth in retail and CPG industries.
