Co-founder of Cognition AI

“I first learned to program when I was nine years old and fell in love with the ability to turn my ideas into reality.” That was the ‘human software engineer’ of Cognition Labs, Scott Wu, the brain behind Devin, the first autonomous AI software engineer. Some even call Wu ‘The Real Devin’.
Prior to founding Cognition Labs, Wu built another company called Lunchclub, which was backed by Lightspeed, Coatue and a16z. Wu served as its CTO and co-founder. Lunchclub is an AI super connector that facilitates introductions for 1:1 video meetings.
Wu studied economics at Harvard, after which he moved to San Francisco to start his own company. But the story of his rare brilliance began when he was a little child winning coding and maths competitions. Wu has gained the title of a ‘legendary grandmaster’ on Codeforce. He is nothing short of a child prodigy.
