Publicis CEO Sees Upside With Merger of Omnicom and IPG

The chief executive officer of Publicis Groupe SA said the merger of rivals Omnicom Group Inc. and Interpublic Group could be good for business, with less competition for key customers and more talent available to poach.

Publicis became the world’s biggest ad company by revenue for the first time in 2024 — a title that will soon be usurped by the combined Omnicom-IPG entity. Still, the deal represents a “huge opportunity” for Publicis, its CEO Arthur Sadoun said in an interview with Bloomberg News.
