Nordic Semiconductor Surges on Upbeat Forecast for Chip Demand

Nordic Semiconductor ASA shares rose after the Norwegian chipmaker said it sees a “gradual recovery” in all end markets and gave first-quarter revenue guidance that exceeded expectations.

The stock rose as much as 16% in Oslo. The company expects first-quarter sales of between $140 million and $160 million, compared with the $119.4 million analyst estimate, it said in a statementBloomberg Terminal.
