MedMitra AI is developing autonomous AI agents designed to support healthcare professionals in diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.

In a major boost to India’s health-tech landscape, MedMitra AI, a platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) for healthcare, has raised ₹3 crore in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was co-led by venture capital firms All In Capital and WEH Ventures, alongside angel investors Rohan Khandelwal, Pawan Gupta, and Venkat Subramanyam. This funding marks a crucial step in MedMitra AI’s mission to transform healthcare delivery with advanced AI solutions.
At the forefront of innovation, MedMitra AI is developing autonomous AI agents designed to support healthcare professionals in diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. By integrating multimodal data such as patient history, lab reports, prescriptions, and imaging, the platform enables precise, efficient, and personalised care.
Currently, MedMitra AI is focusing on general medicine and chronic care, and it further aims to enhance clinical outcomes while addressing systemic inefficiencies in India’s healthcare ecosystem.
“Our mission is to create AI-driven solutions that seamlessly integrate into doctors’ workflows while prioritising reliability and clinical relevance,” said Shivangi Sharma, co-founder of MedMitra AI, and an AI graduate from Northwestern University.
The newly raised funds will be directed towards expanding the team, accelerating product development, and strengthening MedMitra AI’s market presence. The company also plans to launch a specialised version of its platform for medical students, aiming to redefine medical education by enhancing learning and preparing students for real-world challenges.
Highlighting the investment’s potential, Kushal Bhagia, founder of All In Capital, said, “MedMitra AI is a game-changer, streamlining diagnostics to deliver faster, more accurate outcomes while extending high-quality care to underserved communities.”
With the Indian AI in healthcare market projected to reach $8.73 billion by 2030, growing at a staggering CAGR of 41.8%, MedMitra AI is strategically positioned to lead this transformation. Fueled by technological advancements, rising healthcare expenditure, and government initiatives like the India AI Mission, the company’s vision aligns with the nation’s push for deep-tech innovation.
