InMobi Opens New Lucknow Office to Create Local Opportunities

InMobi, India’s leading adtech company, has opened a new  office in Lucknow. This move marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to bring world-class job opportunities to young talent in Uttar Pradesh, allowing them to build careers without leaving their hometowns.

“This isn’t just an expansion—it’s ghar wapsi,” said Mohit Saxena, co-founder and CTO of InMobi, on his LinkedIn post. “What a thrill it is to be back in this city—the city where it all started—with a noble purpose.”

He lamented that for years, many young professionals from Uttar Pradesh have had to move to bigger cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, or Mumbai for better job prospects. InMobi hopes to change that by bringing opportunities directly to Lucknow.

“Why should talent have to move when the opportunity can come to them?” Saxena said. “We are bringing world-class jobs, innovation, and ambition to Lucknow.”

As a part of its expansion plan, InMobi’s team will visit local campuses such as IIIT Lucknow, IET, IIM Lucknow, SRM, Amity University, and others to recruit top talent. The goal is to offer students and graduates the chance to work with InMobi without having to leave their families and roots behind.

“This is just the beginning,” Saxena added. “Our goal? To turn Lucknow into a thriving tech and job hub—just like Bengaluru. And hopefully, more companies will follow. If we can make that happen, our efforts will truly be worthwhile.”
