Daniela Amodei, the co-founder and president of Anthropic, founded the company in 2021 with a mission to build AI models that are predictable, explainable, and free from bias. At Anthropic, she leads various trust and safety research groups, working to ensure that AI models are more helpful, honest, and harmless. Amodei also manages the company’s day-to-day operations and directs the senior leadership team, transforming technical visions into actionable strategies.
Anthropic recently released its most intelligent model, Claude Sonnet 3.5 and Amodei played a crucial role in ensuring that it delivers accurate and relevant information while minimising the risk of hallucinations.
Amodei attended the University of California, Santa Cruz on a music scholarship, showcasing her talents beyond the tech world.
