CoRover Partners with Persistent Systems for Multilingual AI Platform

In August, NPCI, IRCTC, and CoRover introduced “Conversational Voice Payments” for UPI.

Persistent Systems, the Bengaluru-based IT services provider, has partnered with CoRover, the creator of BharatGPT, to drive innovation in multilingual conversational platforms powered by generative AI. 

This partnership combines CoRover’s expertise in sovereign AI with Persistent’s capabilities in Digital Engineering and AI-led platform services to enhance customer experiences, accelerate market readiness, and create new revenue opportunities for enterprises.

Ankush Sabharwal, founder and CEO of CoRover.ai, remarked, “The combination of CoRover’s AI products and platforms with Persistent’s global services expertise will redefine enterprise AI solutions.”

The collaboration aims to achieve economies of scale, strengthen operational resilience, and expand market potential while maintaining a strong focus on AI-driven innovation.

Vijay Verma, CRO – service lines at Persistent, emphasised the alignment with Persistent’s AI strategy, stating, “CoRover’s AI-powered multilingual conversational platform addresses key market needs and accelerates go-to-market initiatives. By integrating their advanced capabilities with Persistent’s expertise in digital transformation, enterprises can revolutionise customer engagement, streamline operations, and foster innovation.”

CoRover’s BharatGPT has been utilised by several government agencies as well. In August, NPCI, IRCTC, and CoRover introduced “Conversational Voice Payments” for UPI at the Global Fintech Fest 2024, marking a significant leap in the ease of digital transactions. This new feature, integrated with payment gateways and powered by BharatGPT, allows customers to complete transactions using their voice or by typing their UPI ID or mobile number.
