The funding will be used for expansion and scaling the deployment of enterprise AI agents.

Atomicwork

San Francisco-based Atomicwork, an innovator in agentic service management solutions for enterprise IT, announced that it has secured $25 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Khosla Ventures and Z47, with participation from Battery Ventures, Blume Ventures, and Peak XV Partners.

Founded by Vijay Rayapati, a former executive at Nutanix and current CEO of Atomicwork, Kiran Darisi, a founding member of Freshworks, and Parsuram Vijayasankar, a former engineer at Freshworks, Atomicwork aims to transform IT service management (ITSM) by integrating agentic AI into its platform.

The company’s AI-native platform combines an enterprise knowledge graph with agentic AI to offload routine tasks from IT teams, which enables them to focus on strategic initiatives that drive business growth.

This approach simplifies enterprise workflows, manages incidents in real time, and facilitates self-healing processes. This helps businesses stay ahead in the fast-paced digital environment.

The recent funding will be used to scale the deployment of enterprise AI agents and expand go-to-market efforts. Atomicwork plans to enhance its platform’s support for key enterprise integrations and ensure seamless scalability to meet the evolving needs of its clients.

“This investment is a significant milestone, validating our vision of a future where smarter IT teams drive business growth, and companies are empowered by technology, not bogged down by it,” Rayapati said.

Global enterprises such as Zuora and Pepper Money have adopted Atomicwork’s platform to enhance their IT operations. These companies aim to boost productivity and transform their digital workplace experiences by using intelligent automation and actionable insights.

Z47 has been part of Atomicwork’s journey since the seed round and is excited to continue supporting its growth.

Agentic AI Funding

The rise of agentic AI in enterprise applications has attracted significant investment in recent months. For instance, Zenity, a leader in securing agentic AI, announced a $38 million Series B funding round co-led by Third Point Ventures and DTCP.

Aampe, a San Francisco-based startup specialising in app personalisation, has secured $18 million in a Series A funding round led by Theory Ventures, with participation from Z47. This brought its total funding to $27.3 million. The company aims to embed over 100 million AI agents into consumer applications worldwide.

Similarly, Boon, an AI-powered workflow platform for commercial fleets, has raised $20.5 million in combined seed and Series A funding. The company, which is also based in San Francisco, focuses on developing agentic AI tools to enhance data utilisation for fleet operators with the aim of improving efficiency and profitability.

Texas-based RapidCanvas recently secured $16 million in Series A funding to enhance its AI agents. These agents are capable of automating up to 75% of complex tasks typically managed by data scientists and engineers.

The agentic AI market has experienced significant growth, with numerous Indian AI startups entering the space. Notably, voice AI agents have emerged as a standout segment, gaining considerable attention.
