AceCloud, a cloud computing solutions provider and a brand of Real Time Data Services (RTDS), announced a strategic collaboration with NetApp and Quantum to introduce a new cloud region in Noida.
The initiative aims to deliver low-latency cloud technologies with enterprise-grade reliability, advanced security, and disaster recovery (DR) capabilities, enabling businesses to accelerate digital transformation.
The Noida cloud region marks RTDS’ second in the Asia Pacific and 13th globally, strengthening its IT infrastructure spanning 10+ data centers worldwide. RTDS supports over 20,000 customers and operates with a team of 600+ employees across India, the US, and the UK.
The region offers specialised hardware for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads, including cloud GPUs and high IOPS-based storage. Services will be hosted in a Tier IV data centre to ensure robust performance, security, and uptime.
Pricing begins at $0.03/hour for GPU compute and USD 7/TB/month for object storage. The services will be available worldwide starting Q4 2024.
Vinay Chhabra, co-founder and managing director at AceCloud, highlighted the significance of the launch, stating, “With the launch of our new cloud region in Noida, we aim to empower businesses with cost-effective Cloud computing solutions with unparalleled security, availability, and scalability.”
Collaboration with NetApp and QuantumAceCloud will utilise NetApp’s Block storage devices to deliver enterprise-grade, secure, and affordable storage solutions with features like data protection and multi-attach capabilities.
Quantum’s ActiveScale platform will power AceCloud’s object storage services, offering flexible tiering for storage classes and support for AI and HPC workloads.
Nick Elvester, VP, Product Operations at Quantum, said, “We are excited to partner with AceCloud on providing customers and partners in this region with a solution to help them easily store their vast amounts of data and leverage it for AI, analysis, and other insights with ActiveScale.”
